Shipping policy
Recipient Age Requirement: Our carriers can only deliver wine to customers who are 21 years or older. Someone must be at the address to receive the package, carriers will not drop a package and leave. They must ensure the recipient of the package is 21 or older.
Re-shipping a Package: If a package is returned to us after three failed delivery attempts, we will only re-ship the wine upon payment of a re-shipping fee to be determined based on shipping address and number of bottles. Unfortunately, we are unable to re-ship without charge so please make sure someone is available to receive the wine at the designated shipping address. If you'd like to receive a refund for a package that was returned to us after multiple delivery attempts, we charge a $20 refund fee to cover the cost incurred by us from our carrier.
Re-routing a Package: If you'd like to reroute a package after it's been shipped, we can do so upon payment of a $20 rerouting fee. We cannot re-route a package across state borders. For changes of address, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 1-2 days from placing the order or we cannot guarantee we'll be able to reroute or change your order's shipping address.
Canceling an Order: If you choose to cancel an order after it's been shipped, we can do so upon payment of a cancellation fee to cover the cost incurred to recall a package en route.
Heat/Frost Damage: We are not responsible for heat/frost-related issues. We offer icepacks upon request during the warmer months. Please let us know should you anticipate adverse weather-related issues. Please be advised that you may also request a shipping hold or delay for weather related concerns. If none of the above stated steps are requested, we will not be able to compensate for heat/frost damage.
Returns Policy: We are not accepting wine or product returns or exchanges at this time. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase or need help finding wines you'll enjoy, feel free to email us at hello@dirtyvine.com.
Shipping Terms: Title to and ownership of alcoholic beverages passes from seller to buyer in California, and the alcoholic beverages you purchase are delivered to you in California. California sales tax will be applied to these transactions and the alcoholic beverages will be stored on your behalf at our facility prior to pick up or fulfillment. You may pick up your products at our location during regular business hours, or you may make independent delivery arrangements. Alternatively, you may elect to have your order fulfilled through a third-party shipper, and you agree to allow us to provide information regarding your designated shipping designation to that shipper for fulfillment. We will provide storage of your wines pending transfer to the shipper. Our storage fees are $5.00 per 30-day period but will be waived for the first 30 days after the sale. We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. As buyer, you warrant that you are solely responsible for the transport of the purchased products and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of bringing the products to your chosen destination. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you are at least 21 years old, and that the person to whom the products will be delivered is also at least 21 years old. The person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that they are at least 21 years old.
