Adèle 2024
Eric Texier came to wine through passion, not heritage. A former nuclear engineer, he left the industry in the early 1990s to pursue winemaking, inspired by traditional vignerons and a deep respect for terroir. He made his first vintage in 1995.
Working primarily in Brézème and Saint Julien en Saint Alban, Eric focuses on old-vine Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, and Clairette across just under 10 hectares. His farming is certified organic, rooted in low-intervention methods inspired by Fukuoka and Jules Chauvet. No plowing, no additives, minimal sulfur, and no new oak—his approach is thoughtful, restrained, and deeply tied to place.
Eric's wines are not designed to follow trends—they’re made to reflect where they come from, with clarity, character, and respect for tradition.
Adèle is an easy-drinking wine made primarily from Clairette, with just 5% Marsanne. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented as whole clusters, resulting in vibrant aromatics and juicy peach notes that jump from the glass. Fermented and aged in cement, this wine sees no oak, preserving its freshness and purity. It is also unfined and unfiltered, allowing its character to shine through. The result is a bright, refreshing wine that is perfect for summer sipping.
