Léa Schaller was born in Chablis, where she grew up on her family's farm and didn’t leave until it was time for university. After completing her studies, she secured a contract job in the music industry, which brought her to Paris. When the contract ended, the timing was perfect: her father was nearing retirement, and her mother had broken her leg, leaving Léa feeling compelled to return home and take over the family business—on her own terms.

Léa took out a small loan to build a winery and decided to craft her own wine rather than selling the fruit as her family had been doing. Now the third generation to farm the land, her first vintage was in 2019, producing just 1,000 bottles. Since then, she’s steadily grown her production, reaching 20,000 bottles in 2023—a testament to her rapid growth and dedication.
