Chablis 2023
Today, Domaine Moreau-Naudet is run by Virginie, whose late husband Stéphane was key in shaping the estate’s vineyards and style. Stéphane, who passed away just before the 2016 harvest at only 47, came from a long line of vignerons dating back to the 1600s. The domaine itself was founded in 1950, and Stéphane took over from his father in 1993, bringing fresh energy and inspiration from Burgundy’s greats. Now, Virginie and Coco—Stéphane’s longtime right hand—are carrying the domaine forward with heart and focus.
The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with deep respect for the terroir. This Chablis is a great introduction to the domaine’s style. This bottling is elegant, bright, and zippy. It’s sourced from two villages—one with vines rooted in limestone, the other in clay. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel—no oak here. A super fresh, must-try bottle.
