This terroir-driven Pinot Noir hails from the Double L Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands—the only certified organic vineyard in the appellation. Originally planted by Morgan Winery in 1997, the vineyard’s fruit is now being sourced by their former winemaker, Samuel Smith, for his own label, SLS Wines. As a micro-négociant, Sam focuses on cool-climate sites along the Central Coast. SLS Wines is a small-production project, crafting just 1,300 cases annually.
