Rajat Parr is a well-known name in the California wine world. He began his wine career in some of San Francisco’s most renowned restaurants, working as a sommelier and later as a wine director. During his time in this role, Rajat began collaborating with California wineries—partnerships that eventually inspired him to start growing grapes himself. He founded Phelan Farm in Cambria, California, focused on regenerative agriculture and natural winemaking practices. Another of his projects, Brij Wines, sources fruit from organically farmed vineyards along California’s Central Coast and produces wine with minimal intervention.
