La Pimpante Brut Rosé

Noël and Magali Bazin, both born and raised in Champagne, have been producing organic, small-batch wines in the Montagne de Reims since their first vintage in 1999. Working from just three hectares across roughly 20 parcels, they craft refined Champagnes rooted in limestone-rich, southeast facing soils, an unusual Chardonnay-focused pocket of the region known as the Perle Blanche (“White Pearl”).

Most of their fruit goes into their signature cuvée, L’Unanimé, alongside a limited-production rosé, La Pimpante (“The Dapper”). Annual production remains highly limited, at under 17,000 bottles.

For this wine, they source Pinot Noir from the neighboring village of Verzenay, blending a small amount (10%) with a vintage-based wine. The result is a stunning rosé that combines elegance with structure—so much so, we’d even pair it with steak, this is a very food friendly wine.
