Limite' 2021
Emiliano Falsini's roots lie in Tuscany. For many years, he has worked as a consulting enologist with some of the finest winemakers and estates in Italy, including those in Tuscany and Sicily. So, when he decided to create his own wines, it was no surprise that he chose Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast and the north side of Mount Etna in Sicily. Emiliano's passion for winemaking is evident—he is deeply connected to the land, which is why he selects sites he believes can produce the highest quality wines.
While he primarily works with native grape varieties from the regions where he farms, Emiliano also believes that some French varieties thrive in Italy, with Cabernet Franc being a prime example.
Planted along the Tuscan coast, Emiliano reserves only the highest-quality grapes for this cuvée. After harvest, the wine is treated according to the unique climate of each vintage. For the 2021 vintage, the wine spent 10 months in new oak, enhancing its complexity. The final result is an elegant expression of the grape we adore, with a hint of Mediterranean freshness that adds to its appeal.
This 2021 vintage is already drinking beautifully, but it has the potential to age gracefully. However, don't wait too long—it's too good to keep for much longer. Only 2,800 bottles were produced in 2021.
