Millocchio Rosso 2020
Founded in 2014, Ranchelle is dedicated to preserving the cultivation of grape varieties native to its region. Located in Maremma, in southern Tuscany, the winery follows a natural winemaking philosophy. In the vineyards, no synthetic substances are used, and pest control is limited to minimal amounts of copper sulfate and sulfur—less than half the quantity allowed in organic farming. In the cellar, no additives are introduced. The result is a lineup of sincere, natural wines that authentically express the character of the land.
The grapes for this wine come from sixty-year-old, biodynamically farmed vines, a blend of Alicante, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese. The winery itself is housed in the basement of a former grocery store, now thoughtfully converted into a winemaking facility. It’s located near the vineyards in Poggio Murella, a village in the heart of Tuscany.
This wine is sure to please your palate—and leave you craving more. Keep it stocked at home; it's the perfect go-to for unwinding after a long day or sipping while prepping dinner. No fuss, just pure, honest wine.
