Montlouis Brut Nouveau Nez 2022

Coralie and Damien Delecheneau are, in our opinion, simply cool. The land they farm has been in Damien’s family for generations, but it wasn’t until 2002, when Damien (a fifth-generation farmer) took the reins, that he decided to focus primarily on viticulture. His first priority was reducing the use of chemicals and adopting a more holistic approach to farming. Coralie joined him in 2009, and together they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the region. They’ve been certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2014.

What we truly admire about them is their strong commitment to the community. A significant portion of their fruit is sold to local winemakers, and they are deeply motivated by the growing adoption of organic practices in the area. In our opinion, their wines are unique, thoughtful, and ready to enjoy now, though they will only become more interesting with a bit of age. Cheers to this dynamic couple—we wish them continued success and can’t wait to see where their hard work and influence takes the region in the years to come!

This wine should always be stocked at home—it's perfect to open at any time of the day. We love its fresh, full(ish) bodied character and the pleasant, lingering finish that stays with you.
