A relatively young winemaker in France, Olivier Lejeune first worked in the mobile gaming industry before deciding to study viticulture at the University of Auckland. He then honed his craft working with world-class winemakers in both New Zealand and France. France is home for Olivier, so when he decided it was time to start his own label in 2015, he settled in the Loire Valley with his wife. By 2017, he released his first vintage.

This wine is bound to make you hungry. While it's fantastic on its own, we recommend pairing it with food. Wine always elevates a meal, and this one does so beautifully. With its pronounced aromas, luxurious mouthfeel, and vibrant acidity, you'll find yourself craving more from Clos des Plantes. Production is limited, so whenever we manage to get our hands on a bottle, we savor each and every sip.
