Domaine Carrette is now in its third generation of winemaking. The family’s journey began in 1980 when Henri Carrette purchased the land and started farming it. His son, Jean-Michel, expanded the winery to what it is today, though in the early years, the wine was sold in bulk. It wasn’t until 2008 that they began estate bottling their wines. Today, the property is managed by Jean-Michel's son, Hervé, who primarily oversees the vineyards and cellar, while his wife Nathalie, an accomplished oenologist, carefully monitors the wine’s development. The vineyards are certified organic, and their wines reflect this dedication to purity and authenticity. Typically aged in larger oak vats, their wines retain the freshness and unique character of their vineyard sites.
