Muri Beverages are made for all of us food lovers. From the moment we first tasted them, we couldn’t get enough. Muri is inspired by Copenhagen, one of today’s most iconic culinary cities. While Copenhagen is known for its exceptional dining scene, Muri’s true passion lies in fermentation. What’s really special about Muri is their collaboration with local, small-scale farmers who forage botanicals from Danish forests to create their unique beverages.

Founded in 2020 by Murray Paterson, Muri combines his distilling experience with innovative blending techniques. Murray partnered with Ioakeim Goulidis, who has worked at the Noma Fermentation Lab, to craft these exceptional drinks. Their combined expertise makes them a perfect team, using techniques found in both spirits and winemaking to enhance texture and flavor. While these beverages are complex and unique, they pair wonderfully with food.

One of their standout drinks is The Passing Clouds — a dry, sparkling beverage made from fermented gooseberries, white currant wine, quince kefir, jasmine tea, and geranium & woodruff kvass. It’s recommended to served chilled in a champagne glass and consume within two days of opening. *Please note, this beverage contains gluten and less than .5% alcohol.
