Christophe Mittnacht is one of our absolute favorite producers in Alsace, and for good reason. He’s been a pioneer in the biodynamic movement, earning his certification in 1999—one of the first in the region. Christophe believes that healthy, balanced soils are key to making elegant, terroir-driven wines. We couldn’t agree more. Today, the property is run by Christophe and his wife, Yuka. He consistently harvests balanced fruit, avoiding excessive residual sugar that can mask the freshness of Alsatian wine. This dry Riesling is the perfect introduction to his style.
