Weiss Trocken 2022
Jochen Beurer, a former BMX champion turned winemaker, has a fascinating story, but that’s not the only reason we love his wines. For Jochen, it all begins with the environment. He farms both organically and biodynamically, ensuring the land is treated with the utmost care. While studying, Jochen worked with the renowned Elisabetta Foradori in Northern Italy, where he refined his technical skills and developed the holistic approach he uses today. When you taste his wines, you can truly sense the respect for the land.
The vineyards are located in Southwest Germany, where Jochen is a pioneering figure, helping modernize the region’s winemaking techniques. Though he is best known for his Riesling, all of his wines are stunning and playful.
The Weiss Trocken is made from a blend of varietals—none of which are Riesling. Sourced from parcels with diverse soil types, this terroir-driven wine is fresh, with a lovely minerality, and just the right amount of texture to satisfy your thirst with every sip. The icing on the cake? Its lower alcohol content makes it the perfect afternoon delight.
